Marjorie Taylor Greene says Jasmine Crockett mistreats staff amid rumors
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) gave credence to reports that Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) treats her staff as if they are “beneath her.”
“Well, she’s not a real person. So, some interesting things that I’ve always observed about her is how she treats her staff. She treats her staff like they are just beneath her,” Greene said when asked about Crockett on The Megyn Kelley Show.
“One of her young male staffers has to carry her big, heavy handbag for her. She just hands it off,” Greene said. “And then I remember one time on oversight, she called one of her staff over, and she whispered something in their ear, and they ran off, and then they came back with this big white fluffy pillow that they put behind her back.”
Greene and Crockett have often clashed publicly. During a House Oversight Committee hearing, Greene mocked Crockett’s false eyelashes, and Crockett made fun of Greene’s physique.
Last May, Crockett moved to trademark the phrase she used to describe Greene: “bleach-blonde bad-built butch body.” Crockett said there was allegedly a “demand” for the merchandise with the phrase, and her campaign began selling T-shirts with the slogan to raise money.
“So, she claims to be, you know, from her people. She puts on this image that she understands the black American struggle, but let’s face it, the girl went to private school. I don’t know what college and law school she went to,” Greene said.
“She’s a complete fake. Yeah. She’s as fake as her eyelashes. She’s as fake as her hair. She’s as fake as her fingernails. And she is such a massive fraud,” Greene said.
Crockett responded to Greene on X, comparing herself to former Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Barack Obama, who have received similar critiques.
“It is funny that [Make America Great Again] cultist want to challenge my blackness because of my education,” Crockett wrote. “Y’all are a joke. Walk a day in my shoes where your white supremacist friends send me hateful emails, death threats, [direct messages], & posts, and then you can tell me if I’m truly living the black experience in this country, UNTIL then mind your business.”
“ALSO ‘being black’ has nothing to do with education… (BUT for the record, if it did, just know that the MOST educated demographic in THIS country is BLACK WOMEN so stop pretending like we are inferior in ANY WAY!)” Crockett wrote.

Crockett is among the Texas Democratic House members who stand to lose her district to a redrawn congressional map. Texas’s map, backed by President Donald Trump, aims to win five more seats for the Republican Party.
The Washington Examiner reached out to Crockett’s office for comment.
