Rasmussen said that when asked if violent crime is “getting better or worse” in America, 35% said worse, 29% said better, and 31% believe it is staying the same.
The president took action this month after several high-profile attacks on Washingtonians, including one on a Department of Government Efficiency official. The city has been plagued by assaults and carjackings in popular areas.
