White House calls ‘The View’ host ‘irrelevant loser’ after her recent criticism of Trump – Washington Examiner
The White House responded sharply to comments made by Joy Behar, a host on the talk show *The View*, who recently criticized President Donald Trump. After Behar condemned Trump’s accusation that former President barack Obama committed treason by allegedly suppressing intelligence showing no Russian interference in the 2016 election,White House spokesman Taylor Rogers called Behar an “irrelevant loser” suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome” and mocked *The View*’s declining ratings. The dispute centers on claims released by former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, indicating that the Obama governance ignored intelligence that Russia did not interfere in the election, instead pushing a narrative to the contrary.Trump labeled Obama’s actions as treason and an attempted coup, while Behar criticized Trump for being jealous of Obama’s qualities.Other hosts on *The view* also expressed concern over Trump’s serious treason accusation. Amid the controversy, Behar announced that *The view* would go on summer hiatus after their final show this week, returning in September.
White House calls ‘The View’ host ‘irrelevant loser’ after her recent criticism of Trump
The White House fired back against The View host Joy Behar on Thursday after her comments criticizing President Donald Trump earlier this week.
“Joy Behar is an irrelevant loser suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome,” said White House spokesman Taylor Rogers. “It’s no surprise that The View’s ratings hit an all-time low last year.”
“She should self-reflect on her own jealousy of President Trump’s historic popularity before her show is the next to be pulled off air,” Rogers added.
The comments from the White House came in response to Behar’s comments on Wednesday, in which the left-wing talk show host heavily criticized Trump for accusing former President Barack Obama of committing treason. Trump rebuked his predecessor for the recent reports released by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, which revealed that Obama allegedly ordered intelligence officials in his administration to suppress findings that revealed Russia did not interfere in the 2016 presidential election.
According to the findings, James Clapper, the Director of National Intelligence in 2016, found that “foreign adversaries did not use cyberattacks on election infrastructure to alter the U.S. Presidential election outcome” and relayed this information to the Obama administration’s national security team, as the Washington Examiner previously reported. Nevertheless, the Obama administration ordered a new intelligence assessment claiming that Russia had interfered in the election to aid then-candidate Donald Trump.
“This was TREASON.… Obama was trying to lead a coup,” Trump said on Tuesday.
Behar took issue with Trump’s comments, which launched this week’s battle of words between the presidential administration and the talk show hosts.
“He’s so jealous of Obama because Obama is everything that he is not: trim, smart, handsome, happily married, and can sing Al Green … better than Al Green, and Trump cannot stand it,” Behar said.
Other View hosts also commented and shared Behar’s sentiments.
“A sitting president just accused a former president of treason. Now, do people realize how serious an allegation this is?” said co-host Whoopi Goldberg.“You have to decide which way you’re going to go.”
“Obama still lives rent-free in his head,” said co-host Sunny Hostin.
OBAMA KNEW THE RUSSIAGATE INTELLIGENCE WAS MANUFACTURED
On Thursday, Behar announced that The View would film only one more show this week, completing its current season. Then, the show would go on summer hiatus and return in September with new episodes.
“And before we go on hiatus, we only have one more show after this. I’m allowed to say that, right?” Behar said.
