This request follows media attention on a birthday letter Trump sent to Epstein,in which he mentioned that they had “certain things in common.” Trump described the public focus on Epstein as a “SCAM” driven by Democrats and called for the matter to be ended. Bondi responded that they are prepared to seek court approval to unseal the grand jury transcripts.

President Donald Trump directed Attorney General Pam Bondi on Thursday to “produce any and all pertinent Grand Jury testimony” relating to sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
The order comes after the Wall Street Journal published a story concerning a birthday letter Trump wrote to Epstein that said the pair have “certain things in common.”
“Based on the ridiculous amount of publicity given to Jeffrey Epstein, I have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to produce any and all pertinent Grand Jury testimony, subject to Court approval,” he wrote in a Truth Social post. “This SCAM, perpetuated by the Democrats, should end, right now!”
Bondi replied on X, “President Trump—we are ready to move the court tomorrow to unseal the grand jury transcripts.”
