Megyn Kelly targets Bondi again shortly after Trump defense – Washington Examiner
conservative commentator Megyn Kelly has continued to criticize florida Attorney General Pam Bondi regarding her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files, accusing Bondi of repeatedly misleading the public and lacking transparency. Kelly urged Bondi to resign and highlighted a rift between Bondi and FBI officials Kash patel and Dan Bongino. Despite President Donald trump defending Bondi and urging the FBI to move past the Epstein case, Kelly remains skeptical, suggesting either Bondi misled the public without any major undisclosed facts or a potential cover-up directed by Trump. Kelly’s comments reflect ongoing controversy over the inquiry into Epstein, which concluded there was no evidence of a hidden client list and ruled Epstein’s death a suicide.
Megyn Kelly targets Bondi again shortly after Trump defense
Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly continued to target Attorney General Pam Bondi over the weekend over her handling of the Epstein files, claiming she “repeatedly misled” the public about the them.
Kelly, who on Friday called for Bondi’s resignation amid a rift with top FBI officials Kash Patel and Dan Bongino, repeated her criticism of the attorney general on Saturday night after President Donald Trump came to Bondi’s defense.
“I’m sure it’s a relief for Pam Bondi to hear the president is still in her corner. Unfortunately, huge swaths of the party are not. She repeatedly misled on Epstein. Then didn’t have the courage to explain herself. Suddenly, she’s camera shy & no Qs allowed. Good luck!” Kelly posted on X.
Those claims largely echo ones Kelly made following the conclusion of the DOJ and FBI’s investigation into disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, an investigation that found no evidence of a “client list” and that Epstein committed suicide in his Manhattan jail cell.
Speaking on Emily Jashinsky’s podcast After Party earlier this week, Kelly said Bondi “has definitely made multiple inconsistent statements” and “does not deserve the benefit of my good opinion.”
She amplified that criticism on Friday night at a Turning Point USA event alongside Charlie Kirk, saying Bondi knew the Epstein files, of which only a small batch were released, “were bulls***.”
“She knew that there was nothing in there,” Kelly added.

Kelly later laid out two possible explanations for the way the Epstein files were handled, one of which is a cover-up at “his [Trump’s] direction” after the president in his defense of Bondi urged the FBI to move on from Jeffrey Epstein, who he said “nobody cares about.”
“There are really only two options: 1. There’s no huge undisclosed there there on Epstein, Bondi misled on it (until she didn’t) & Trump is quick to forgive a loyal soldier for being desperate to get on TV; or 2. There is a scandal that’s being covered up & it’s at his direction,” she posted on X.
