Mexican immigrant arrested for aggravated murder in Ohio after being deported seven times

A Mexican man, Fermin Garcia-Gutierrez, deported multiple ‌times from the U.S., was arrested in Ohio for murder. Charged with aggravated murder and related ‍offenses, he was apprehended by Hamilton police but not initially for the homicide. Authorities‌ discovered ⁣the murder’s link to him during an unrelated encounter. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is seeking ⁢Garcia-Gutierrez’s deportation. ‌Sheriff Richard K. Jones emphasized the threat posed by repeat deportees like him.

A Mexican illegal alien who has been deported multiple times from the U.S. was arrested in Ohio on murder charges after officials determined that a body found in an alley was a homicide.

Fermin Garcia-Gutierrez, 46, was charged with aggravated murder, using weapons while intoxicated, carrying concealed weapons, possession of drugs and obstructing official business.

Garcia-Gutierrez was arrested by Hamilton police last month on charges not related to the murder, which they believe he committed two days before his arrest.

“It just so happens we ran into him and had an encounter with him,” said Hamilton Police Chief Craig Bucheit. “Unbeknownst to us he had committed this murder.”

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lodged a detainer request against Garcia-Gutierrez so that he can be deported before he has the chance of being released.

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones highlighted the danger that illegal aliens like Garcia-Gutierrez pose to Americans at a press conference last week.

“Garcia-Gutierrez has been deported 7 times and he has been in our jail 11 times using 7 different names and 3 different date of births,” the Butler County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. “This is a perfect example of what the Sheriff has been saying all along. Illegal immigrants are a danger to our country.”

Jones said that his county has seen roughly 1,000 illegal aliens face state and local charges since President Joe Biden took office.

Jones posted eight different mugshots of Garcia-Gutierrez that have been taken over the years.

The sheriff brought posters showing Biden, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador next to the words “Border Crisis.”

He also showed a poster-sized photo of an incident from last month at the U.S. southern border when more than 100 illegal aliens broke through razor wire and fencing and then assaulted Texas National Guard soldiers and stormed the border.
