Israel Vows to Achieve Total Victory in War with Hamas
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that Israel will not back down in its fight against Hamas until they achieve an absolute triumph.
During a press conference on Sunday, Netanyahu stated that the IDF is intensifying its efforts to eradicate the remaining terrorist cells in Gaza.
This announcement comes as President Joe Biden has urged Israel to reduce their ground offensives and airstrikes in the region, while still maintaining their right to self-defense.
However, Netanyahu has firmly rejected any interference from the U.S. government in their mission to eliminate Hamas.
“I have seen false publications claiming that the U.S. prevented and is preventing us from operational operations in the region-this is not true,” Netanyahu said. “Israel is a sovereign state. Our decisions in the war are based on out operational considerations, and I will not elaborate on that. They are not dictated by external pressures.”
Meanwhile, Israel has set a three-week timeline for the completion of this phase of the war.
