Biden’s Lavish Thanksgiving Amidst American Struggles
As Americans Struggled to Get By, Biden Spent Thanksgiving Living Like a King
While many Americans were grappling with financial difficulties this Thanksgiving, President Joe Biden indulged in a luxurious holiday getaway.
Escaping from Washington D.C. on yet another vacation, Biden chose to spend Thanksgiving at a lavish home owned by billionaire David Rubenstein in the exclusive Nantucket, Massachusetts. This picturesque location is known for being a haven for the super-rich and famous.
Reports revealed that Biden arrived in Nantucket well before the holiday, with Air Force One touching down at Nantucket Memorial Airport on Tuesday evening. The White House and federal security personnel flooded the island with operatives in preparation for the Thanksgiving-week visit.
Enormous military cargo planes transported a fleet of giant, armored SUVs and motorcycles to cater to the president’s transportation needs during his stay at the Rubenstein property.

The president’s motorcade consisted of approximately 20 vehicles, 30 motorcycles, an ambulance, and a dozen police vehicles.
Biden’s grandchildren, along with their spouses and children, were also present at the Nantucket residence for the holiday.
Surprisingly, the president had no official business on his schedule for the entire week, except for a call to service members on Thanksgiving Day. The White House declared that Biden would have no further public appearances or work, effectively ending his availability to the public.

Biden did make a staged appearance for reporters by delivering pumpkin pies to firefighters on Thanksgiving Day. He also made a statement regarding the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas terrorists.
The family continued their tradition of taking a “polar bear plunge” in the chilly waters on Thanksgiving Day.

Biden’s choice of holiday lodgings caused inconvenience for others hoping to visit the area, as all local hotels were occupied by law enforcement officers, White House support staff, Secret Service agents, and members of the media.
For the past three years, the Bidens have taken advantage of Rubenstein’s generosity by staying at his Nantucket home during the holidays. Rubenstein, co-founder of the private equity firm The Carlyle Group, is worth an estimated $3.5 billion according to Forbes.
While Joe and “Doctor” Jill reveled in luxury, the rest of America faced the harsh reality of soaring prices for Thanksgiving meals. The cost of turkey-day fixings increased by a staggering 25 percent compared to the prices during Donald Trump’s presidency.
According to the American Farm Bureau Federation, the average cost to feed ten people on Thanksgiving was $61.17, significantly higher than the $53.31 during the Trump years.
Let’s talk turkey. This year’s Thanksgiving feast for 10 will run you
$61.17—about $6 dollars per person, according to Farm Bureau’s #ThanksgivingSurvey. That’s a 4.5% decrease from last year, but a Thanksgiving meal is still 25% higher than in 2019.https://t.co/gATnRarttk pic.twitter.com/pvnac5RC6I

The cost of turkey also rose compared to the Trump years. A 16-pound turkey cost an average of $27.35 this year, while it was only $20.80 in 2019.
Unfortunately, some low-income Americans in New York City went without a turkey on Thanksgiving Day. Reports revealed that illegal aliens overwhelmed local food banks, leaving no turkeys for legal citizens in the New York City Housing Authority.
While Biden enjoyed his luxurious holiday, his policies made Thanksgiving less enjoyable for lower and middle-income families across America. Hopefully, this can be rectified in the upcoming election next November.

What message does President Biden’s extravagant spending on vacations send to the American public in light of the highest inflation rate in decades and the financial strain experienced by many families across the nation?
Essentials such as food, gas, and housing. The inflation rate has reached its highest level in decades, causing financial strain for many families across the nation.
Amidst this economic turmoil, President Biden’s decision to spend Thanksgiving in such opulence may come across as tone-deaf and out of touch with the struggles of everyday Americans. As the leader of the country, he has a responsibility to prioritize the needs and concerns of the American people.
Biden’s frequent vacations and extravagant lifestyle have not gone unnoticed by the public. According to reports, the president has spent a staggering $84 million on his various vacations since taking office. This amount is more than what most Americans will earn in a lifetime.
The contrast between the president’s lavish lifestyle and the financial hardships faced by many Americans is concerning. While Biden enjoys the comforts of a billionaire’s retreat, families across the country are skipping meals, struggling to pay bills, and making tough choices between basic necessities.
Furthermore, the timing of Biden’s vacation raises eyebrows. With crucial issues such as inflation, supply chain disruptions, and rising energy prices, one would expect the president to be focused on finding solutions and addressing the concerns of the American people. Instead, he chooses to escape to a luxury resort, leaving the impression that he is disconnected from the realities faced by ordinary citizens.
Some may argue that everyone deserves a break, including the president. However, as the leader of the free world, Biden must prioritize his duties and responsibilities. It is his duty to lead by example and show empathy towards American citizens who are struggling to make ends meet.
A true leader understands the importance of sacrifice and standing in solidarity with the people they represent. While the president’s vacation may be within his legal rights, it does not reflect the values of a leader who is genuinely committed to the well-being of the American people.
In conclusion, President Biden’s choice to spend Thanksgiving in a luxurious getaway while many Americans grapple with financial difficulties raises concerns about his priorities and empathy towards the struggles of everyday citizens. As the leader of the nation, it is crucial for him to prioritize the needs of the American people and demonstrate an understanding of their hardships. Actions speak louder than words, and it is essential for the president to lead by example in these challenging times.
