⁣ How did Judge Engoron’s alleged interruptions of Trump’s testimony affect the fairness and impartiality of ⁢the trial?

Donald Trump’s attorney, Alina Habba, made a strong ⁢statement outside the Manhattan courthouse on Monday, claiming that the judge had ⁤already made up his mind⁣ about her client’s guilt before ⁤he even testified.

As Trump took the stand in his civil ‌fraud trial, Habba criticized Judge Engoron, describing ‍him as “unhinged” after ‍he shouted at her and ordered ⁣her ⁢to ⁤sit⁣ down while she defended her client. The judge even went so far ⁢as ‍to threaten to remove⁤ the former ⁣president from ⁤the stand.

One‌ of the main ⁣issues Habba ‍raised was the judge’s repeated interruptions ‍of Trump’s testimony,‌ stating that he could not provide lengthy answers. Habba said, “I’m not here ‍to hear‌ what he has to say. That was what rang true loud and ⁣could not have been more honest coming from ⁢the judge who has already ⁣predetermined that my client committed⁣ fraud before we even walked into this courtroom.”

The ⁣tension between Habba and Judge Engoron was evident during the trial, and the attorney did ⁢not hold back in her critique of ⁤both the‍ judge and ‌New York Attorney⁢ General Letitia James. In a‍ tweet shared by Julia, Habba was ⁣described as going “scorched⁤ earth” ⁢on AG James and Judge Engoron. Habba alleged that ⁤the judge attempted to shorten Trump’s testimony and ⁣claimed that he was influenced by politics rather than weighing the ‍evidence impartially.⁤ She also ‍suggested that AG⁤ James only had her Soros-backing to rely on.

It is important to note that this article is based‍ on⁤ an image‍ caption and ‍a tweet, and further information about the trial and the⁢ claims‍ made by Alina Habba would be necessary to provide a complete and balanced analysis. As the trial continues, ⁤it remains to be seen how these ‌allegations will impact the proceedings and the final ⁣verdict.
