Leftist Protester Calls for Nike Boycott While Wearing Nike Shoes
Leftist protesters never fail to provide unintentional tragicomedy, even when they’re not busy burning down the country.
In a recent post on the X social media platform, Addison Smith of Newsmax shared a side-by-side clip and close-up photo of a pro-Palestinian protester using a bullhorn to call for boycotts against major companies, including Nike.
Interestingly, the close-up photo revealed that the confused young woman herself was wearing a pair of Nike shoes.

The irony doesn’t end there.
While listing the companies to boycott, the woman’s voice initially faltered, perhaps due to strain or nerves. However, she quickly regained her composure and continued with a steady pace and volume.
She began yelling out the names of companies like Starbucks, McDonald’s, Disney, Nestle, and Coca-Cola.
But the real irony came when she raised her voice to shout “Nike!” after naming five more companies.
It’s clear that the beliefs and actions of these leftist protesters often contradict each other.
Author Eric Hoffer, in his book “The True Believer,” offers a possible explanation for these inconsistencies among radicals. He suggests that ideology means little to the “true believer,” who craves united action and self-sacrifice.
For these protesters, it’s not about what they say or do, but about being part of a collective movement that allows them to abandon their individual existence and find meaning in “united action.”
Unfortunately, this desire for self-sacrifice leads them to embrace causes that contradict their own beliefs, resulting in the ongoing tragicomedy of leftist protests.
Ultimately, it’s up to posterity to see through this madness and recognize the lack of coherence in these protests.
