According to the GLAAD study, Walt Disney Studios and Netflix emerged as the leaders in promoting LGBTQ content among viewers.
Disney produced 24 out of 59 movies with LGBTQ content, making 41% of its films “inclusive.” This includes seven movies from Walt Disney Studios, five from Disney+, and 12 from Hulu. GLAAD also noted that “Walt Disney Studios included LGBTQ characters in all five of its Disney theatrical releases last year.”
Some of the films that passed the test include “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” “Thor: Love and Thunder,” “Better Nate Than Ever,” “Turning Red,” and more.
