50 Cent reportedly hurls mic at concert, hurts woman.
Rapper 50 Cent Throws Mic at Concert, Injuring Fan
During his concert at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, rapper 50 Cent made headlines when he allegedly threw a microphone off the stage, accidentally hitting a woman in the crowd. The incident occurred during his “The Final Lap” tour, where he had surprised the audience with a guest appearance by fellow rapper YG.
According to reports from People magazine, 50 Cent’s microphone had stopped working while YG was performing. In a video that circulated on social media, the rapper can be seen tossing the malfunctioning microphone into the crowd. He was then given a second microphone, which he threw with more force, accidentally hitting a woman in the head, as noted by Variety.

Images later emerged of the injured woman, identified as Bryhana Monegain, a host from Power 106. She was seen with blood on her face and a significant gash on her forehead. Monegain had been standing in the production area where 50 Cent’s crew was located, as reported by People. She was taken to the hospital to receive treatment for her injury.
Following the incident, Monegain filed a police report, leading to 50 Cent becoming a suspect in a criminal felony battery case, according to TMZ. However, Variety reported that it was unable to confirm whether a report had been filed with the Los Angeles Police Department.
Law enforcement sources informed KTLA that they believe 50 Cent intended to throw the microphone to his crew members in the AV area and did not mean to hit Monegain. However, Monegain claimed that the rapper had looked directly at her before throwing the microphone, as stated by TMZ.
50 Cent’s attorney, Scott Leemon, defended his client, stating, “Let’s be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone. Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed,” as reported by Variety.
The rapper’s tour, which began in July, is set to continue with the European leg starting next month in Amsterdam and concluding in December in New Zealand.
