Francis Suarez is the initial GOP candidate to withdraw from the primary contest.

Miami Mayor Francis‌ Suarez has ⁤made an exciting announcement. He has decided to drop out of ⁢the⁤ 2024 presidential race after ‌failing ⁤to qualify for the first Republican Party primary debate.

In a statement, ⁢Suarez expressed his commitment to making America a better ⁤nation for ‍every American. He also mentioned how close ⁣he came ‌to appearing on stage with⁣ the⁤ other‍ candidates at the first debate, calling it a ⁣privilege.

However, Suarez ⁢didn’t hold back in criticizing the current administration.‌ He ⁣highlighted issues such as‍ high inflation, punishing interest rates for young Americans, an open⁣ southern border, rising crime rates, and⁤ the growing boldness of our enemies and adversaries. According to him, the country⁤ deserves better.

Earlier this month, Suarez had announced‌ that he had qualified for the first‌ Republican Party⁢ primary debate.⁢ However,⁣ he later retracted his claim during ⁣a CNN interview.

The New York Times⁢ highlighted Suarez’s tendency‌ to take shots at ‌Florida Governor Ron ⁣DeSantis throughout his campaign. ⁣He criticized DeSantis on various issues, including his ⁤battle with Disney and his signing of legislation ⁤against radical⁣ gender theory in schools. ⁢Interestingly, Suarez rarely attacked the party’s front-runner, former President Donald J. Trump. He even suggested that he ⁢would ⁤be open to pardoning Trump if⁣ convicted in any of his four indictments.

Despite ⁣dropping out of ‌the race, the 45-year-old ⁣mayor is determined to amplify the voices of ⁢the Hispanic community, which is the fastest-growing voting group in‌ the country.

Suarez believes that the Left has taken Hispanics for granted for too long. He sees the conservative movement as a welcoming home for many Hispanics who believe in the country’s foundational values such as⁢ faith, family, hard work, and freedom. He also ‌mentions that the GOP and ⁤its policies should appeal to younger voters, Independents, urban voters, suburban women, ‌and others who have supported him in previous elections.
