Florida Surgeon General Slams Mask Mandates as “Terrible Policies”
In a bold statement, Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo criticized mask mandates as “terrible policies” and urged people not to comply. As entities across the country return to forced masking, Ladapo is taking a stand against these measures.
Entities Reinstate Mask Mandates Despite Low COVID Cases
Schools, hospitals, and businesses nationwide are enforcing mask mandates once again, citing concerns over a potential rise in COVID cases. Surprisingly, even institutions with zero reported cases, such as Morris Brown College in Atlanta and Lionsgate film studio in California, have reinstated mask mandates. However, Lionsgate later lifted the mandate, claiming to have contained the spread of COVID.

A return to mask mandates has also been advocated by legacy media outlets. CNN published an article titled, “It may be time to break out the masks against Covid, some experts say,” while a CBS News medical contributor suggested that certain individuals should strongly consider masking during flu, RSV, and COVID season.
Florida Surgeon General Ladapo has been a vocal opponent of mask mandates, stating that the argument used to support them is “a lie” and calling for people to stop believing it. He has also opposed vaccine mandates and worked with Governor Ron DeSantis to make Florida the first state to recommend against COVID vaccines for healthy children.
