Musk announces live-streamed battle with Zuckerberg.
Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg’s Epic Cage Match to be Live-Streamed on X
The battle between social media and tech moguls Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg has reached new heights. Musk recently announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, that their proposed fight would be live-streamed on the platform. The mixed martial arts cage match, which has been in the works since June, is set to take place in Las Vegas.
“Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on X. All proceeds will go to charity for veterans,” Musk shared on X early Sunday morning, leaving fans eager for more details.
Zuckerberg, responding on his social media app Threads, expressed his readiness for the fight, stating, “I’m ready today. I suggested Aug. 26 when he first challenged, but he hasn’t confirmed. Not holding my breath.” He also proposed using a more reliable platform that can raise money for charity.
Musk, on the other hand, revealed his intense preparation for the fight, sharing on X that he spends his days lifting weights at work. When questioned about the purpose of the fight, Musk responded, “It’s a civilized form of war. Men love war.”
The feud began when Musk initially challenged Zuckerberg to a cage match on June 20. Zuckerberg, who is trained in jiujitsu, responded by asking Musk to “send location” for the proposed throwdown. Musk suggested Vegas Octagon, referring to the venue where MMA championship bouts are held. He then committed to training if the fight became a reality.
