Kirk Cameron discusses conservatives and Christians joining the cultural battle before the National Faith-Based Story Hour event.
Kirk Cameron Takes a Stand Against Woke Agenda at Faith-Based Story Hour Event
Kirk Cameron, the renowned actor, recently spoke out about the importance of Conservatives and Christians standing up against the woke agenda that is being forced upon their children. In anticipation of a faith-based story hour event organized by Brave books, Cameron discussed the overwhelming response and pushback he and his publisher have received for their National See You At The Library Day 2023.
Cameron revealed that tens of thousands of people are expected to attend these events, which will also feature story hours hosted by influential figures such as Riley Gaines, Sheriff Mark Lamb, and David Harris Jr. In a remarkable display of dedication, Cameron himself will be visiting three libraries in three different states in a single day, surprising hosts in Tennessee, Alabama, and Texas. He will be reading one of his books, including his latest release “Pride Comes Before The Fall,” as well as his previous work ”As You Grow,” both published by Brave books.
Emphasizing that the event is not solely about him, Cameron commended Christians and Conservatives for bravely demanding a seat at the table. He acknowledged that they have been unfairly “vilified” and “demonized” by the Left, and commended their efforts to make their voices heard.

Cameron expressed his excitement about the overwhelming support they have received for the event, with numerous organizations, churches, libraries, boards, politicians, families, state governors, pastors, and mayors stepping up to host their own story hours in response to cancellations by more well-known names due to protests.
Despite facing pushback from protestors and certain libraries, Cameron chose to focus on the positive response from communities. He also highlighted a video they obtained, in which the American Library Association (ALA) instructs other libraries on how to “block families” from hosting these story hours while simultaneously supporting and funding Drag Queen story hours.
Cameron commended politicians like Senator Marco Rubio, who called for an investigation into the ALA’s alleged use of taxpayer dollars to silence Brave books. The publisher expressed gratitude for the support they have received from Rubio and others.
