GOP Candidate Claims “Deep State” Plot to Stop Him from Beating Biden

GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy made a bold statement on Friday, suggesting that the “deep state” is secretly holding onto a federal investigation into President Joe Biden’s handling of classified information. According to Ramaswamy, this investigation will only be brought forward if he becomes the GOP nominee, at which point Biden will be replaced with a different candidate.

Ramaswamy shared his views during an appearance at The Family Leadership Summit, where he spoke with host Tucker Carlson. Confident in his chances, Ramaswamy stated, “My gut instinct is that I will be the nominee and in a position to win this in a landslide versus Biden, and they will not let Biden run against me.” Despite polling at around 3% in the primary, Ramaswamy firmly believes that if he secures the nomination, the “deep state” will prevent Biden from running against him.

He further explained, “It is why they’re holding in the back pocket the documents case against Biden. It is why they’re holding in the back pocket, everything else that you’re wondering why they’re not charging or bringing now.” Ramaswamy believes that these actions are part of a larger plan by the “deep state” to hinder an outsider like himself from becoming president.

During the interview, Ramaswamy also attributed the January 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol to the “censorship” of issues like the Hunter Biden laptop story in the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election. He believes that suppressing such information played a role in fueling the unrest.

Additionally, Ramaswamy proposed a controversial solution to the war in Ukraine. He suggested freezing the “current lines of control,” granting Russia the territory it has seized, and making a commitment to NATO to never admit Ukraine into the alliance. In return, Moscow would be expected to sever its military ties with China.
