Noem slams CA lawmakers for blocking child trafficking bill: ‘Mind-blowing, feels like a different world’

Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) Expresses Outrage Over California Assembly’s Decision

During a recent appearance on Hannity, Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) expressed her deep shock and horror at the California Assembly’s Public Safety Committee for blocking a bill that aimed to classify child trafficking as a “serious felony.”

“I’m horrified by this. I can’t believe it,” Noem exclaimed. “I can’t believe that this would happen, that leaders would say these traffickers deserve a pass.”

Noem passionately argued that those involved in child trafficking should face the harshest punishments possible, never to experience freedom again. She emphasized the immense suffering inflicted upon innocent children by these criminals.

Comparing the policies of California with those of her own state, Noem expressed gratitude that South Dakota does not operate in a similar manner.

“What goes on in California every day blows my mind,” Noem stated. “I feel like it’s another world that operates out there and another mindset. I’m so grateful that South Dakota isn’t like that and that we have people who still love each other, take care of each other, understand personal responsibility, make wise decisions, and uphold the law.”

Noem proudly highlighted that South Dakota is the top choice for Californians seeking to leave the Golden State.

“We’re thrilled that people want to come to South Dakota and be a part of our way of life,” Noem declared. “And they’re coming here for freedom.”
