DeSantis Vows to Overhaul the Department of Justice
DeSantis expressed his disappointment in the censorship of the Hunter Biden scandal, emphasizing that it was Trump’s own agencies that were collaborating with Big Tech. He stated, “I would never allow that to happen. I would fire those people immediately.” If elected, DeSantis plans to make significant changes to the Department of Justice on his first day in office, putting an end to the weaponization of government. He firmly believes in starting fresh, including appointing a new FBI director.
A Results-Oriented Alternative to Trump
DeSantis continues to position himself as a more viable Republican candidate, offering a results-oriented approach. He emphasized the importance of discipline and focus in a president, stating, “You can’t get distracted on this. These people are not going to voluntarily give up the power they have accumulated over many decades of neglect. I have shown in Florida the ability to get the job done.”
The Florida governor acknowledges that he currently trails behind the former president in national polls. However, he remains determined and understands that securing the GOP primary bid will not happen overnight.
