Biden claims Putin is ‘clearly’ failing in ‘Iraq’.

President Biden: Putin “Clearly” Losing War in Iraq

During a press conference at the White House, President Joe Biden made a surprising statement, mistakenly claiming that Russian President Vladimir Putin is “clearly” losing the war in Iraq. However, it is evident that Biden was referring to Russia’s involvement in the conflict in Ukraine, where Putin has faced numerous setbacks both domestically and internationally.

Biden emphasized, “It’s hard to tell, but he is clearly losing the war in Iraq, he’s losing the war at home, and he has become a bit of a pariah around the world. And it’s not just NATO. It’s not just the European Union. It’s Japan. It’s, you know, 40 nations.”

While Biden’s statement may have been a slip of the tongue, it highlights the ongoing tensions between Russia and the international community. The repercussions of Russia’s actions have not gone unnoticed, with various nations expressing their disapproval.

Before heading to Chicago to deliver a speech on “Bidenomics,” the President took questions from reporters. The White House has described “Bidenomics” as his vision for fostering economic growth from the middle-out and the bottom-up, rather than a top-down approach.

Interestingly, Biden’s remarks come on the heels of a recent rebellion in Russia, where the Wagner Group, a private mercenary organization, expressed discontent with Russian military leadership. Talks between Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin and Putin, mediated by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, ultimately led to the end of the rebellion.
