Coast Guard’s oxygen deadline for missing Titanic sub expired.

Coast Guard Officials Fear for Missing Titanic Submersible

The anticipation is mounting as the clock ticks away for the missing OceanGate submersible. Departing on a daring expedition to explore the legendary Titanic wreckage, this state-of-the-art Titan submersible vanished just one hour and 45 minutes into its dive. With 96 hours of oxygen on board, the vessel’s air supply is rapidly depleting, and officials warn that by 7:08 a.m. Eastern time on Thursday, it could be too late.

Concerns Surrounding the Titan Submersible

Designed by OceanGate, the Titan submersible was created to transport a team of five individuals, including a pilot and four crew members, on an extraordinary journey to the depths of the ocean. While OceanGate boasts about the advanced technology of the Titan, experts and observers have raised doubts about certain technical aspects. In a letter from the Marine Technology Society, unanimous concern was expressed regarding OceanGate’s decision to disregard DNV-GL class rules.

As the world waits with bated breath, the remains of the Titanic lie silently in the vast Atlantic Ocean, approximately 370 miles south of Newfoundland, Canada. Resting 2.4 miles beneath the water’s surface, this historic shipwreck holds countless mysteries waiting to be unraveled.

The Brave Adventurers on Board

Among the five courageous individuals aboard the OceanGate vessel are Hamish Harding, the chairman of Action Aviation; Shahzada Dawood, the vice chairman of Engro Corporation Limited; Dawood’s son Suleman; Paul-Henri Nargeolet, a diver and Titanic researcher, and director of underwater research at RMS Titanic; and OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush.

Will they succeed in their mission to explore the depths and uncover the secrets of the Titanic? Only time will tell.
