Florida Called “Terrorist State” for Black Americans and LGBTQ Community

Democratic strategist Aisha Mills recently appeared on MSNBC’s “Deadline White House” and claimed that Florida was “about to be a terrorist state” for black Americans and the LGBTQ community. She was referencing a travel warning from the NAACP that labeled Florida as “hostile” to these groups. Congressman Mike Waltz (R-FL), a combat veteran and Green Beret, fired back, calling Mills “legitimately insane.”

Wallace brought up the travel warning issued by the NAACP, which stated that “Florida is openly hostile toward African Americans, people of color, and LGBTQ+ individuals.” Mills appreciated the warning and said, “Florida is about to be a terrorist state to many of us here in America. Certainly as a lesbian, as a black woman, I don’t want to have anything to do with the place.”

Radio host Clay Travis shared a video clip of Mills’ appearance, adding, “These people are legit insane” — and Waltz readily agreed.

Florida GOP Chairman Christian Ziegler challenged the NAACP’s chairman, Leon Russell, who lives in Florida, to “step up and MOVE” if he thinks the state is so bad.
