Nikki Haley campaign touts $11 million fundraising haul since 2024 debut
Nikki Haley, a Republican presidential hopeful, has received $11 million in campaign funding since her launch on February 15. As a result of the fundraising campaign, Haley now has $7.8 million cash in hand to use for her campaign. This means that Haley has raised a significant amount of funds in just six weeks, drawing from tens of thousands of donations across all 50 states.
The success of Haley’s campaign has been attributed to her conservative messages and calls for new leadership in America. Betsy Ankney, Haley’s campaign manager said, “voters and donors are clearly responding to Nikki’s message and her call for a new generation of leadership to make America strong and proud.”
The fundraising achievements of her campaign have not gone unnoticed. Haley’s campaign is being tipped as a clear alternative to former President Donald Trump in the 2024 GOP primary. The campaign raised $10 million more than Trump’s campaign in the first six weeks of his presidential debut.
According to Haley’s campaign, 67,000 donations were in amounts of $200 or less. Haley also had a busy week visiting Iowa and New Hampshire while also unveiling plans to tackle immigration and border security issues.
She is set to head back to her home state of South Carolina for a rally and has additional events planned in Iowa over the coming days. According to RealClearPolitics, a website that aggregates poll results, Haley is currently running in fourth place in a hypothetical 2024 GOP primary match-up.
