DeSantis Responds To Salacious Reports About Pudding And Force Feeding Detainees At GITMO: ‘Bring It On’

In an audience that was broadcast on Thursday night, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis responded to two recent slanderous media reports that he ate dessert with his bare hands and gave the go-ahead for forcibly feeding prisoners at Guantanamo Bay.

According to an unnamed source cited by The Daily Beast last week, DeSantis again” enjoyed a chocolate pudding dessert” while flying privately by” eating it with three fingers.”

DeSantis said this during a Fox Nation interview with Piers Morgan, who called the paper absurd.

Morgan rudely remarked,” It was a very serious argument.” In fact, I gave the journalist who broke the news about the new” Watergate” my congratulations. However, Governor, I must throw it to you. Have you ever used three fingers to eat a chocolate dessert?

DeSantis responded,” I don’t recall ever doing that ,” after laughing at the tale. I will tell you. Perhaps when I was a child.

DeSantis continued,” You know, there’s a lot of people when they go at you, and sometimes they have extremely good weapons, like you’re an thief, you did this and that.” ” For me, they’re talking about dessert like, is that really the best you’ve got?” Okay, let’s get going.

DeSantis refuted a claim made by The Washington Post that he was somehow involved in forcibly feeding prisoners at Guantanamo Bay.

Morgan retorted,” One of the things they said was that you gave the go-ahead for army eating [ for prisoners who were on hunger fire.

” That’s not true ,” DeSantis retorted right away. I didn’t have the power to approve anything because I was a young officer. There might have been a chief who would have fed someone who was about to pass away. But I wouldn’t have even had the power to do that.

DeSantis responded,” Yeah, absolutely ,” when asked once more if the report was incorrect.
