Record Spring Break Travel Expected at LAX
LOS ANGELES—Los Angeles International Airport is expecting one of the busiest spring break travel periods since 2019.
LAX expects that more than 12,000,000 passengers will use the airport in March and April. On average, 195,000 passengers per day are expected to arrive at LAX in March. This is 82% of March’s passenger volume.
In April, an average of 204,000 passengers per day are expected. This is 85 percent of April’s passenger volume.
According to airport officials, vehicle traffic in the Central Terminal Area will continue to increase during the travel period.
Close to 79,000 vehicles are expected each day in March, and 81,000 in April.
