New Analysis Exposes Google News’ Extreme Left-Wing Bias

This new analysis is based on MRC Free Speech America’s lead in exposing Big Tech giant Google’s massive left-wing political bias.

AllSides — a media solutions company That purports “expose people to information and ideas from all sides of the political spectrum so they can better understand the world” —released a Report Illustration of Google News, February 28, “displayed articles from left-wing media sources far more often than sources from the right.”

AllSides specifically stated that their Analysis It was revealed that there were over “61% of media outlets presented on Google News’ homepage over a 5-day period were from sources AllSides rates as on the left, with just 3% from outlets on the right.” 

“The jig is up,” Vice President, MRC Free Speech America Dan Schneider Statement. “It’s no accident when Google News promotes left-leaning outlets twenty times more than right-leaning outlets. Google cannot pretend to be unbiased any longer. Our own research has shown it. AllSides is corroborating it.”

AllSides’ report follows MRC Free Speech America. litany Google Studies Published The Past Google is nothing more then a leftist political tool that censors conservative voices and masquerades as neutral search engine. This has been demonstrated over the course of a few months. The most significant MRC finding was Google’s involvement in election interference during the 2022 midterm elections, which was in favor of Democrats. 

Concerning the search term “elections,” AllSides claimed that a Google search is not necessary. “returned no results from Center-, Lean Right- or Right-rated media outlets” In “the days leading up to the 2022 midterm elections.” This is in direct agreement with MRC Free Speech America’s Oct. 25, 2022 StudyThe study, which revealed that Google had buried the campaign websites for Republican Senate candidates in highly contested races while raising their Democratic counterparts.

AllSides also pointed out Google News’ preference for CNN leftist propaganda outlet.

Overall, the analysis found Google News presented stories from news sources with an AllSides Media Bias Rating™ of Left or Lean Left far more often than sources rated Center, Lean Right or Right. These results confirm AllSides’ Media Bias rating of Google News as being Lean Left. Google News homepage CNN curates content that is highly favored (Left bias) Showing stories from this website the most often (15% total stories were from it). [emphasis added].

Self-described “The Best of Both Worlds”media solutions company” It used two methods of research. “[T]he first method involved collecting top stories that appeared on Google News’ homepage over a 5-day period from October 31 to November 4, 2022 — days leading up to the 2022 midterm elections — and the second involved collecting the top stories presented for select search terms.” Additional search terms AllSides has analyzed include “Trump” And “Biden.”

Research the term “Trump” The AllSides report revealed that over a 5-day period, “32% of articles were from CNN (Left bias), 20% of articles were from The Guardian (Lean Left).” It went on: “[Six] of the 25 (24%) articles pulled were about Trump’s financials and tax returns, and 6 out of 25 (24%) were about Trump’s potential presidential run in 2024.” This is the definition of term “Biden,” AllSides stated that “Six of the 25 (24%) articles” These were taken from CNN. Additionally, “[f]our (16%) of the articles were from The White House and five (20%) were from Politico (Lean Left).” 

The worst part was that both Trump and Biden were wrong: “No Lean Right- or Right-rated outlets were present in these search results“ [emphasis added].
