Marvel Studios Boss Fully Backs Disastrous “She-Hulk: Attorney At Law” Series That Was Specifically Made To Attack Marvel Studios’ Former Fans

Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios boss is starting to look more like Kathleen Kennedy’s Lucasfilm situation. He appears to have taken over the management of a failing brand and is now overseeing its decline.

Feige’s recent comments on She-Hulk: Attorney at law These facts are proof.

The series was supported by the producer. telling Entertainment Weekly, “She-Hulk, for example, was an experiment: ‘Let’s just do a legal comedy.’ What if Ally McBeal was a superhero? How do we do a legal sitcom with an incredibly expensive CG character in the middle of every episode? And I couldn’t be happier with the tone that Jessica Gao has set for that.  It’s a very different tone than many of other projects have, and that was totally intentional.”

This tone was confirmed as a “f*** you” Tatiana Maslany (She-Hulk): To Marvel’s past fans

Variety is what we should be talking about Maslany was interviewed by the outlet following the series’ conclusion. “Were you expecting to face the trolls when you signed on for the show?”

She replied, “Reading the script, it was so true. There’s so much resistance to a woman just existing in that space of superheroes. There’s always going to be that. I sort of anticipated it.”

“It’s why I also feel it’s important. There’s such an entitlement to space held by certain people, and to even exist as She-Hulk is like a fuck-you, and I love that,” She continued.

Answering another question regarding the final tackling “some of the exact same trolling comments that Marvel fans have been making,” Maslany stated, “Jessica Gao is a genius and knows about the culture we’re living in and her position in it when she’s writing these stories about a woman superhero. She knows what that response is going to be.”

“As a cast, it was delightful sending each other these troll responses, like ‘Oh my god, give them a week and then they’re going to literally see this pop up verbatim in the show and become the villains of the show.’ It was thrilling,” Variety interviewed her.

Gao revealed that the show’s purpose was to troll the viewers.

Variety asked her. “How did it feel to accurately predict what the trolls would be saying?” Gao replied, “Our writers room opened three years ago. The fact that we were able to predict what the reaction was going to be, what a lot of the trolling comments were going to be, really shows how very tired and unoriginal these trolls are.”

“That really tickled me because the little troll that lives inside of me really loves trolling the trolls,” she declared.

Variety was also informed by Kat Coiro (director of the series). “One thing I noticed is that at the beginning of the series, I was getting a lot of nasty, mean comments. As it’s gone forward, that has stopped. I think it’s because now they realize when they target us, they’re playing directly into our hands.”

“And we called, which is very gratifying. It is so satisfying. Negative comments are always taken as engagement. People who are so angry are likely to be paying attention. All of it is positive to me.

However, she claimed that negative commentary was engagement. But, previously, she noted that it stopped. This could be due to the fact that viewers who watched the first episode quickly stopped watching, as Nielsen ratings showed that viewership declined significantly with each new episode. 

It didn’t have much audience at all, and it did not make it onto Nielsen’s Top 10 Original Programs streaming list for the week August 15-21 2022. The premiere episode of the series was broadcast on Disney+ on August 18, 20,22.

When the sixth episode of the series debuted on Disney+, it was still not in Nielsen’s Top 10 Original Programs streaming list.

Its viewership was just below 416 million minutes. Stranger Things The chart’s tenth-ranked series for that week was raked in.

It did make it to the top when it was made available for binge watching during the week of 10-16 October 2022.

Despite being available to binge, the series only garnered 526,000,000 minutes viewed. This placed it 5th on Nielsen’s Top 10 Original Streaming charts.

The following week, the series fell from Nielsen’s Top 10 Original Programs streaming charts. It was unable to reach 398 million minutes of viewing, the same amount as 10th ranked. The Handmaid’s Tale.

The series’ viewership has dropped by at most 128 million minutes. This represents a minimum 24% decrease in viewership within one week.
