Biden Projects Weakness to the World as Pentagon Refuses to Take Down Chinese Spy Balloon
Pat Ryder is the Pentagon’s spokesperson Friday was Friday when it was announced that the shooting down of the Chinese spy balloon The Biden administration will not allow that to happen.
“In terms of the discussions of whether or not to shoot down this balloon, that was an option. It was something that was taken into consideration… Because we assess that it currently does not pose a physical or military risk to people on the ground, for now we are continuing our monitor and review options,” Ryder stated this on Friday.
Ryder was also questioned about how long the balloon could remain above US soil. Ryder replied that it would be above ground for a while. “a few days,” It will be monitored.
Ryder was asked by a reporter what data the balloon could collect. He said that he wouldn’t divulge any information. “Once the balloon was detected, we acted immediately to protect against the collection of sensitive information, and I’ll just leave it at that,” He said.
