While a scant 9.4 percent said they would be “more likely” do do business with Disney, a whopping 68.2 percent are less likely to do so.

After Disney publicly opposed Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill, Americans are revealed to be less likely to do business with the children’s entertainment giant.

A Trafalgar Group poll asked “News reports reveal Disney is focusing on creating content to expose young children to sexual ideas. Does this make you more or less likely to do business with Disney?” While a scant 9.4 percent said they would be “more likely” do do business with Disney, a whopping 68.2 percent are less likely to do so.

The poll differentiated between Democrat and Republican voters, and even among Democrat voters, they were 48.2 percent less likely to do business with Disney. Among GOP voters, that number rose to 85.3 percent less likely. Independents, too, were less likely, at 72.5 percent.

Trafalgar asked voters if they were more likely to seek our Disney’s competitors, and across all voting groups, respondents said that they would be more likely to do so.

The study was conducted over three days from April 5 to April 8, and spoke to 1079 respondents who were likely to vote in the general election. The poll has a margin of error of 2.99 percent.

This comes after Disney was revealed to be looking to inject at least 50 percent of their content with LGBTQIA+ themes by 2050 and executives at Disney lamented the signing of the Parental Rights in Education bill. Despite the corporate perspective, many Disney cast members have said they support the bill.

Disney has promised to work toward overturning the legislation, saying: “Our goal as a company is for this law to be repealed by the legislature or struck down in the courts, and we remain committed to supporting the national and state organizations working to achieve that.”

Disney employees have also been found to have been involved in child trafficking, and employees say that this has not been addressed internally.
