LOS ANGELES—In a devastating incident that occurred on the morning of Aug. 26, three individuals lost their lives in a multi-vehicle crash near the Westmont community of unincorporated Los Angeles County, authorities have confirmed.
The collision took place at the intersection of South Vermont Avenue and West Century Boulevard around 5:25 a.m., as reported by the California Highway Patrol.
At 6:27 a.m., the highway patrol announced that the Los Angeles Police Department will be leading the investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic traffic accident.
