Shocking Gang Rape Allegations: One Man in Jail, 11 in Border Patrol Custody
An appalling incident of gang rape involving young girls has led to the arrest of one man and the detention of 11 individuals by the U.S. Border Patrol.
In the city of Bemidji, Minnesota, a population of approximately 15,000, a harrowing account emerged from an 11-year-old girl. She revealed that she and two others were subjected to being tied up and raped by at least four men in a house.
The girl managed to escape her captors and was taken to Bemidji Sanford Hospital on September 23. The hospital staff promptly alerted law enforcement, as reported by KNOX in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
According to the police statement, the girl, identified as V.K., was accompanied by 24-year-old Verna Fairbanks, who was intoxicated but insisted on attending a party. They arranged separate transportation to the location.
However, upon arrival, Fairbanks coerced V.K. into consuming alcohol. Subsequently, V.K. was bound alongside two other girls and sexually assaulted by “four Mexican men,” one of whom was known as “Panda.”

The police document detailed the horrific abuse suffered by V.K., including the penetration of her vagina by the assailants without using protection.
During a medical examination, numerous abrasions were discovered on V.K.’s body, including a wrist injury caused by the rope used to restrain her. She also mentioned a rope being placed around her neck, and the police possessed photographic evidence of the resulting marks.
V.K. experienced bleeding and described her pain as excruciating, rating it an “8 out of 10” after the assault.
After the initial interview, V.K. disclosed that Fairbanks was her “auntie” and that she had a bag placed over her head when she first entered the car.
Following the ordeal, another girl assisted V.K. in freeing herself, allowing her to escape.

When the police executed a search warrant related to the assault report, Oscar Luna, who matched the description of “Panda,” was present at the scene. He claimed to be a U.S. citizen, but the remaining 11 individuals in the house were handed over to the U.S. Border Patrol for processing as illegal immigrants.
It remains unclear whether these 11 individuals are suspects in the rape, victims of human trafficking, or neither, as reported by KVLY. The police are continuing their investigation.
